Singaraja
Our permanent parish, where Divine Liturgy is celebrated every Sunday in Bahasa Indonesia. A quiet, prayerful space welcoming Indonesians and visitors. Fellowship meal follows Liturgy.
An Orthodox Christian community on the island of Bali — keeping the ancient faith of the Apostles through Divine Liturgy, prayer, and hospitality. Indonesians and visitors alike are welcome.
The Divine Liturgy is the heart of Orthodox Christian life — the same service celebrated since the first centuries of the Church. All are welcome to attend, whether you are Orthodox, exploring the faith, or visiting Bali.
Services for major feast days and other special occasions are announced in advance. To reach Fr. Stephanos, write to frstephanos_presbyter@yahoo.com.
Orthodox Christianity traces its life unbroken to the Apostles. Two thousand years of liturgy, scripture, and the saints — now taking root on this island.
We worship the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — in the manner the Apostles handed down: with incense, chant, sacred images, and the Eucharist.
All Saints is a small but growing parish under canonical Orthodox jurisdiction. We celebrate the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in Bahasa Indonesia, with Greek and Church Slavonic preserved in the ancient hymns the Church has sung for centuries.
You will find icons, candles, and the rhythm of a service that engages all the senses — a prayer in which the body, mind, and heart together turn toward God.
Our main parish home is in Singaraja, on Bali’s quieter northern coast. Once or twice a month Fr. Stephanos also serves the Liturgy in the south, at a villa in Kabupaten Badung, so that Orthodox faithful and seekers near Denpasar may also worship.

Once or twice each month, the Liturgy is served at a private villa for the Orthodox community in the south of the island. Open to all — please write ahead so we may welcome you.
If you have never been to an Orthodox service, do not worry — we will help you find your way. Here is what most newcomers want to know before walking through the door.

Dress modestly and comfortably — long sleeves and skirts or trousers are usual. We worship in tropical heat; cotton and linen are friends.
Liturgy begins at nine. Come by 08:45 and let us greet you, give you a service book, and show you where to stand.
Orthodox worship is mostly standing, with seating available for those who need it. Children, elders, and visitors should never hesitate to sit.
The Eucharist is offered to Orthodox Christians who have prepared through prayer and fasting. All are welcome to receive the blessed bread (antidoron) at the end of Liturgy.
After Liturgy we share a simple meal — Indonesian and otherwise. It is the best way to ask questions and to meet the parish.
Father Stephanos serves both our Singaraja parish and the monthly mission Liturgy in the south, tending to a young Orthodox flock spread across Bali.

Father Stephanos celebrates the Divine Liturgy each Lord’s Day in Singaraja and, once or twice a month, travels south to serve the small community gathered at our villa chapel in Kabupaten Badung.
He preaches in Bahasa Indonesia and can speak some English — and welcomes any visitor, parishioner, catechumen, or curious traveler to write or visit. Inquiries about baptism, marriage, confession, house blessings, and catechism are all warmly received.
These are the core facts for visitors and search tools: who we are, where we worship, when services are held, and how to contact the parish.
“Acquire the spirit of peace, and a thousand souls around you will be saved.”
Damai sejahtera bagimu — peace be with you, and with all who enter this house of prayer.
